Overview
Ixia is Great Marksman Hero that can wipe out all enemy heroes using her Ultimate with good position and support from teammates. She is good marksman in early game that can kill enemy marksman in 1v1 fight (both level 1) given that she has passive that sustain her in a fight. Keep in mind that Ixia cannot move while channeling her Ult so a good position is a big must when casting her Ult.
Strengths
an enemy heroes that doesn't have any dash or escape skill is a big benefit for her knowing that she has passive that can sustain her in a fight. In teamfight, you can use her ult to wipe out enemies. It would be a great help as well if you have a crowd control teammates to maximize her ult.
Weaknesses
Stun, burst, heroes with dash or escape skill and heroes with great mobility is her biggest weakness. (WANWAN, GRANGER, CICI, etc) unlike miya, layla, moscov, irithel, etc. Ixia's basic attack is not continuous so she must be careful with marskmen heroes with great attack speed especially those who are using inspire battle spell. Purchasing wind of nature or winter can help her survivability. Remember, when using her ult you must do a good positioning to prevent it from being interrupted or being attack freely from enemies.
Damage Build
Standard build for Ixia for great damage and sustain.
Survivability
Enemies like (Wanwan, Irithel, Granger) is her weakness so use this items that can help her last in a fight. U can also change wind chant to Winter Crown
Poke, Damage, Finisher
This is the perfect emblems fro her. Keep note that her passive effect rely on her damage so make sure to maximize it. Penetration is a must for her that's why always choose assassin emblem with war cry as the last emblem talent to maximize her efficiency
Battle Spell
Flicker is best for her aside from escaping enemies when you're in low HP you cal aso use this when casting her ult to flick in or flick out making sure that you can hit enemies when they try to escape or to distance yourself while casting her ult.
Distant Attack and Strategic Planning
As I've said earlier, Ixia is weak against heroes with great mobility (dash, escape skill), burst and crowd control. So use your common sense before you initiate a fight if you encounter enemy heroes that has her weakness the best thing you do is ask for teammate help. In early game you can easily kill an enemy hero in a 1vs1 fight (both level 1). Use wind of nature or winter crown whenever you encounter enemies with great attack speed or crowd control/burst skill and you can also purchase Rose gold for additional survivability. I SUGGEST ALSO TO PRACTICE THIS HERO FIRST BEFORE YOU USE THIS IN RANKED GAME.
