Obsidia is a really strong burst marksman ingame and in the early game you should use your first skill to stack bone shards as it stacks more than basic attacks, and avoid engaging with enemies and try to poke them.

Obsidia can be really strong in teamfights by eliminating the squishy damage dealers in the back first using her ult and second skill.

Obsidia's weaknesses includes poke marksman and fast burst mages like eudora and odette so avoid engaging with these types of heroes directly durung the early to mid late game.
